Job summary

Uniform Education seeks enthusiastic and experienced secondary Maths teachers to plan and deliver 1:1 tuition to pupils across Harrow. This role supports students who may be out of school or require extra help to achieve KS3–KS4 targets.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm during term-time with flexible sessions. Pay is £30–£45 per hour plus paid PPA time, plus structured PPA entitlements and risk assessments are completed beforehand.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – essential.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong Maths knowledge KS3–KS4 and ability to tailor lessons.
• Patient, supportive and adaptable approach for pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to pupils across Harrow.
• Tailor lessons for individual learning needs and outcomes.
• Deliver sessions during term-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm.
• Complete risk assessments and safeguard appropriately.
