Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Ripley is seeking a 1:1 Tutor to support students in Maths and English. The role offers flexible hours, with options for part-time or full-time temporary placements, and you will tailor sessions to individual learning needs.

Sessions take place at home, libraries or schools. You will plan lessons to meet the national curriculum and support learners with EHCPs. A teaching qualification or relevant experience is required, plus a passion for helping young people.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or equivalent experience is required.
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions in Maths and English.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learner needs.
• Support students in developing confidence and independence.
• Sessions may take place at home, libraries or schools.
