Prospero Teaching is seeking English, Maths and Science tutors to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to secondary pupils without a current placement. You’ll assess gaps, plan tailored lessons and deliver engaging sessions to help learners regain confidence and attainment.

The role suits someone stepping away from the classroom, with flexibility in schedule and a focus on vulnerable or disengaged learners in Colchester. QTS and UK classroom experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification.
• UK classroom teaching experience.
• Creative and patient approach to teaching.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 1:1 tailored tutoring to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4.
• Plan and deliver bespoke lessons for English, Maths and Science.
• Support pupils to reintegrate into school through targeted instructional strategies.
