Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Bristol is seeking a Female Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our Bristol team, providing high-quality, person-centred care in the client’s home. You will work 4pm–10pm and 10pm–8am during term time with 12-hour day and night shifts in school holidays, supporting one 19-year-old client living with a complex genetic condition who uses a wheelchair.

You will administer medications, assist with moving and handling, and support clinical interventions such as PEG

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their own home.
• On shift, provide personal care, assist with moving and handling, and support clinical interventions (including PEG feeds; training provided).
• Enrich client life through community interaction and support in achieving goals/aspirations.
