Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is looking for a Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker in Southampton. The role involves 1:1 or 2:1 client care in their home, including personal care and medication administration.

Shifts vary (days, nights, weekends) and you must be comfortable with moving and handling and learning complex care tasks. Applicants should have at least 6 months of UK care experience within the last two years and be able to build strong relationships with clients and the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience in personal care, administering medication, moving and handling.
• Interest in stable rota, 1:1 or 2:1 within a client’s home.
• Willingness to learn and undertake new complex care interventions including tracheostomy, ventilation, and PEG feeding.
• Ability to build a good working relationship with the team and the client.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their home.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with moving and handling to ensure client safety.
• Support clinical interventions as required and follow care plans.
