Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting challenging behaviour.
• Experience within SEN or specialist education.
• Able to provide 1:1 support to a student with EHCP.
• Resilient, patient and emotionally robust.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 behaviour and SEN support.
• Support a student who displays challenging behaviour.
• Follow and implement strategies linked to their EHCP.
• Promote emotional regulation, communication and independence.
• Build a trusting, positive relationship with the student.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and the SEN team.
• Maintain a calm, structured and safe learning environment.
