Outcomes First Group is seeking a compassionate Pastoral 1:1 Support Worker to provide personalised support for a student with autism as they transition into a specialist educational setting. You will work with teachers, therapists and families to promote positive outcomes, focusing on independence, emotional wellbeing and learning.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting young people with autism.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient when facing challenges.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the student’s individual needs.
• Build trust and positive relationships to help the student feel confident and secure.
• Support learning, communication, emotional regulation, and independence.
• Encourage engagement in lessons and wider school life.
• Implement behaviour, communication, and support strategies.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to promote positive outcomes.
• Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and support plans.
• Ensure the student’s safety, wellbeing and development at all times.
