Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Windows System Administrator to join our team at a client’s facility in Paris, Île-de-France, France. The role focuses on Windows-based infrastructure administration, operation, and improvement in a hybrid environment.

4 days onsite and 1 day remote, 3–7 years experience preferred. You will support production systems, security, patching, and infrastructure modernization while delivering operational documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (physical and virtualized).
• Ensure operational stability of Windows infrastructure hosted on VMware.
• Monitor systems and manage alerts using monitoring tools.
• Manage backup and restore operations using enterprise backup solutions.
• Administer security tools and respond to alerts.
• Deploy applications and manage patching activities.
• Handle ITSM tickets (N2/N3).
• Collaborate on vulnerability management.
• Produce operational documentation and reports.

Overview

The role focuses on the administration, operation, and continuous improvement of Windows-based infrastructure environments. The position supports production systems, ensures operational stability, manages security and patching activities, and contributes to infrastructure modernization initiatives within a hybrid environment.
