Job summary

Alma is hiring an Experimentation & Tracking Engineer in Paris. You will own web experimentation, including A/B tests on merchant websites, and measure outcomes on Alma’s site. You will design tests with stakeholders, implement variations, ensure data quality, and present results to clients.

You will also lead tracking across markets using GTM/GA4, maintain consent and GDPR compliance, and support a CRO program on Alma’s own funnels while keeping Core Web Vitals and SEO in check.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in experimentation, web analytics, CRO, or related web development.
• Hands-on with GTM and GA4, including consent mode, data quality, and debugging issues.
• Strong JavaScript and HTML/CSS skills for DOM manipulation and variation building.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchant experimentation from opportunity to readout with defined KPIs and stop rules.
• Own web tracking: define tracking plan and implement via GTM/GA4 across 8 markets; ensure data quality and GDPR compliance.
• Build and optimize almapay.com pages; run a CRO program on Alma’s funnels and maintain performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Scale the experimentation practice by turning frameworks and tooling into repeatable processes and share learnings with stakeholders.
