Job summary

amo in Paris is seeking an experienced Web Engineer to own our consumer web experiences. You’ll turn designs into fast, beautiful interfaces and optimize performance across devices and in-app browsers, ensuring a smooth first impression for every user.

You’ll bridge web and app via deep linking, manage analytics and experimentation, and contribute to a growth-focused product roadmap. This role requires autonomy across frontend and backend, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to shipping

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing web products.
• Deep expertise in React / Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of web performance: rendering strategies (SSR, edge, static), caching, Core Web Vitals.
• Hands-on experience with deep linking, Universal Links / App Links and attribution.
• Experience designing analytics taxonomies and running experiments, and care for data quality.
• Growth mindset: funnels and conversion rates, and shipping measurable results.
• Strong product and visual taste, attention to details like minor misalignments and latency.
• Autonomous working across frontend and backend; knowledge of infrastructure is a plus.
• Passion and experience building consumer-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Own the consumer web experiences, turning designs into fast, polished interfaces.
• Own the bridge between web and app: deep linking and app entry points.
• Own sharing previews and OG metadata, optimizing for conversion.
• Design and maintain analytics taxonomy, instrument funnels, run A/B tests.
• Identify and ship growth initiatives, contributing to the roadmap.
• Own architecture, performance, monitoring and reliability of what you ship.
