Job summary

amo, located in Paris, is seeking a Web Engineer to help build and own systems powering operations, analytics, and distribution. You will work across architecture, implementation, and monitoring, owning surfaces from frontend to backend and driving performance and scalability.

You’ll contribute to scaling our web stack, developing subject‑matter expertise, and improving our internal product philosophy. This role offers strong autonomy and a direct impact on company velocity in a hands‑on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building SaaS products and/or internal tools.
• Experience with growth engineering, experimentation systems, segmentation, and analytics instrumentation.
• Comfortable with API design, API integration, and building reliable third‑party connectors.
• Familiarity with Temporal, Restate, or other orchestration/workflow systems.
• High proficiency with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, etc.) and NodeJS/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Building Internal Tools & Backoffice Systems – Developing internal platforms for data access, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Owning Growth & Distribution Infrastructure – Implementing systems for growth levers, distribution flows, acquisition, activation and retention tracking.
• Orchestrating / Segmentation – Architect durable, event‑driven workflows across the platform.
• Creating Metrics Dashboards & Data Visualizations – Developing real‑time dashboards and self‑serve insights.
• Optional AI‑Driven Automation – Contributing to AI/LLM‑powered pipelines for scalable content generation.
• End‑to‑End Ownership – Taking responsibility for architecture, implementation, performance, monitoring, and reliability.
• Continuous Improvement – Sharing best practices and elevating engineering standards.
