Jobtailor in France seeks a senior hydraulic/civil engineer to lead water-sector projects from preliminary design through to closeout. You will perform condition assessments, design studies for drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, and manage related studies.

You will monitor tendering, oversee construction activities, and coordinate with clients and contractors, including closeout and project acceptance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or engineering degree in hydraulics, civil engineering or public works.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and drafting software, particularly AutoCAD and COVADIS.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills when working with clients and contractors.
• Ability to monitor construction execution.
• Ability to work in urban hydraulics and engineering consultancy/design supervision.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the agency's projects from start to finish, from preliminary design studies through to project completion
• Carry out condition assessments and rehabilitation projects for water-sector infrastructure
• Conduct design studies for drinking water and wastewater structures and infrastructure
• Carry out and monitor related and supplementary studies
• Manage the tendering and bid analysis phases (ACT)
• Monitor construction activities (VISA, DET, OPC and AOR)
• Contribute to technical studies in urban hydraulics, particularly assessments and master plans
• Monitor and manage construction execution
• Supervise and coordinate construction works
• Oversee project acceptance and manage closeout activities
• Work closely with the Agency Director and the Design Engineering (MOE) Division
