Jobtailor in France seeks an engineer to conduct civil engineering assessments of defects in water-sector infrastructure and to design water supply and wastewater systems through diagnostic, preliminary, and detailed design stages.

You will manage tendering and bid analysis, monitor construction works, coordinate projects, and hand over completed facilities, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree from an engineering school specializing in hydraulics, public works, or civil engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy or construction supervision.
• Proficiency in French public procurement law.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory and technical standards.
• Highly organized and rigorous.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsabilités

• Conduct civil engineering assessments of defects and deterioration affecting water-sector infrastructure.
• Design water supply and wastewater infrastructure: diagnostic studies, preliminary studies, and detailed design stages.
• Conduct and monitor related and supplementary studies.
• Manage tendering and bid analysis phases.
• Monitor construction works, including design compliance review, construction supervision, project coordination, and handover.
• Contribute to urban water engineering studies, master plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and monitor construction execution.
• Supervise and coordinate construction works.
• Oversee project handover and close-out.
• Participate in agency projects from preliminary design through completion and handover.
• Work under the responsibility of the Atlantic Agency Director, with support from the Design and Construction Supervision Department.
