Jobtailor in Martinique seeks an experienced Civil/Hydraulic Engineer to work on water system projects, from design to tender and construction monitoring. The role emphasizes urban hydraulics, public procurement, and technical documentation, with AutoCAD-driven design work.

The ideal candidate will draft specifications, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to master planning studies across wastewater and drinking water domains.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or hydraulic engineering.
• Experience in water engineering and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with public procurement codes and CCAG clauses.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the preparation of proposals.
• Conduct technical studies in wastewater and drinking water systems.
• Perform project modeling, design, and sizing.
• Prepare drawings in AutoCAD Covadis in coordination with the CAD designer.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Draft technical documentation.
• Prepare tender documents for contractors.
• Monitor construction works.
• Maintain relationships with teams, clients, contractors, technical departments, public authorities, and other partners.

Requirements

• Degree from an engineering school or qualification as a civil or hydraulic engineer, particularly from ENGEES, ENSE3, ENSEEIHT, or ENSIP
• At least 4 years of experience in water engineering
• Proven expertise in urban hydraulics and engineering design
• Strong knowledge of public procurement
• Strong knowledge of the French Public Procurement Code, the MOP Law, and the various CCAG standard contract clauses
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of the local context and regional stakeholders is an advantage
