Shine, the financial copilot for entrepreneurs and small businesses, seeks a VP of Engineering for the ERP Tribe. The role leads and develops the engineering function to support Shine's regulatory, product and strategic goals across Europe.

You will drive AI-augmented engineering, governance, and collaboration with Product, Compliance and Risk while shaping the Tribe's organization, standards and delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with progressive leadership experience.
• Proven AI-augmented engineering experience with governance and guardrails.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments (banking, ERP, fintech) is a plus.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels and challenge senior engineers.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the ERP Tribe engineering team.
• Define and implement an engineering organisation structure, operating model and resource plan for the Tribe.
• Improve predictability, transparency and quality of software delivery and documentation.
• Strengthen engineering operations: incident management, monitoring, security and risk management.
• Build effective relationships with Product, Compliance, Risk, Security and other stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering decisions reflect ERP, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Contribute to the global engineering strategy and tech priorities.
• Support recruitment and development of a high-performing team.
• Drive AI-augmented engineering practices with safe, auditable AI usage.
