Bleu Robotics is seeking a Research Scientist in Vision & Perception to design the perception stack for industrial robots. You will define how our robots see, recognize, and interpret scenes, enabling robust manipulation in real factory environments.

The role focuses on shipping algorithms into a real product, collaborating with Robot Learning and Integration teams, and translating research prototypes into production components for deployment on real robots.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, or closely related field from a leading lab or strong research environment.
• Track record of publications in top venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.).
• Demonstrated research expertise in computer vision or machine perception (object recognition, segmentation, pose estimation, 3D perception, etc.).
• Strong Python skills and PyTorch fluency.
• Hands-on experience training, evaluating, and debugging modern vision systems.
• Professional proficiency in English (internal working language).

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, and evaluate perception algorithms for robotic manipulation and scene understanding.
• Advance state of the art in perception for embodied agents with focus on robustness and data efficiency.
• Run rigorous experiments on real robots and contribute data, evaluation, and infrastructure.
• Translate research prototypes into perception components robust enough to ship as part of our product.
• Collaborate with Robot Learning and Integration teams to move research from prototype to production.
• Help shape the long-term research agenda of the company.
