Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT production specialist to administer and evolve a large VMware virtualization ecosystem, with over 4,000 VMs. You will coordinate build-side systems and run deployments, providing L2/L3 support and ensuring security maintenance.

Responsibilities include capacity planning, incident management, and BC/DR exercises, plus documenting procedures and managing patches, BIOS, firmware updates, and vulnerabilities in a secure production environment.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of experience in IT production environments.
Ideally, experience in complex, secure, and/or critical environments.
Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
Significant experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Administration and operation of large-scale VMware environments.
Management of patches, upgrades, BIOS, and firmware.
Vulnerability analysis and remediation.
Capacity planning, performance monitoring, and resource management.
Management of incidents, changes, and production deployments.
Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
Level 2/3 technical support.
Experience in critical and highly secure production environments.
