Job summary

Extia Group is seeking an IT Consultant / Tech Professional to join our vibrant hybrid team with a focus on software engineering, DevOps, IT Infra, QA, or data. The role offers an international experience through our VIE program in Romania and requires 3+ years in core IT domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in at least one core IT domain.
• Backend: Java Spring Boot or Frontend: Angular/React.
• DevOps: CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux/Windows, IaC.
• QA: testing methodologies and automation or manual.
• Data Engineering: ETL, SQL/NoSQL, modern data stacks.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira.
• Cloud: Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Interest in international experience through a VIE program in Romania.

• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate actively in the entire project lifecycle, from requirement analysis and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Champion quality by ensuring code, infrastructure, data pipelines, or testing standards meet top industry benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Share your expertise, participate in code/peer reviews, and contribute to the team's technical vision.

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable IT solutions tailored to your domain of expertise.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate actively in the entire project lifecycle, from requirement analysis and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Champion quality by ensuring code, infrastructure, data pipelines, or testing standards meet top industry benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Share your expertise, participate in code/peer reviews, and contribute to the team's technical vision.

Required technical skills:

• Min. 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following core IT domains:
• Software Development: Backend (Java Spring Boot) or Frontend (Angular, React).
• DevOps & IT Infra: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), system administration (Linux/Windows), or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• QA (Automation or Manual): Testing methodologies, test plan creation, or automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, etc.).
• Data Engineering: Building data pipelines, ETL processes, SQL/NoSQL databases, and working with modern data stacks.
• Practical experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and utilizing tools like JIRA.
• Familiarity with or hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• A strong desire for international experience through our VIE program in Romania.
