Quandela is seeking a motivated video editor and motion designer intern to join its Corporate Communications team. You will transform raw footage and internal content into engaging videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X, and web usage, covering short clips to interviews and product explainers.

You will work closely with communications, design, and technical experts, contributing to post-production, visual storytelling, and content strategy while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a programme in audiovisual production, video editing, motion design, animation or a related field, ideally seeking a final-year internship.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your editing and motion design skills. Academic and personal projects are welcome.
• Interest in technology, science or innovation; no prior knowledge of quantum computing required.

Responsabilidades

• Edit videos from raw footage through final delivery, including footage selection, storytelling, pacing, color correction and audio adjustments.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles and visual explainers to simplify complex technologies.
• Repurpose longer videos into short clips, adapting formats, pacing and subtitles for each platform.
• Collaborate on briefs, storyboards and visual ideas, ensuring consistency with Quandela’s brand.
• Incorporate feedback from communications colleagues and technical experts to ensure content is clear and scientifically accurate.
• Help organise footage, project files and reusable templates for future production efficiency.

Description of the Team/Project

You will join Quandela’s Corporate Communications team, helping bring quantum computing to life through video and motion design. Working with our communications and design colleagues, technical experts and external production partners, you will help develop our in-house post-production capabilities.

You will turn existing footage, internally captured content and professionally filmed material into videos for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X and our website. Projects will range from short social clips to interviews, masterclasses, product explainers, and animated use cases.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos from raw footage through to final delivery, including footage selection, storytelling, pacing, basic colour correction and audio adjustments.
• Create motion graphics, animated titles and visual explainers that make complex technologies and applications easier to understand.
• Repurpose longer videos into short clips, adapting formats, pacing and subtitles to each platform.
• Collaborate with the team on briefs, storyboards and visual ideas, ensuring consistency with Quandela’s brand.

Education & Background

• Currently enrolled in a programme in audiovisual production, video editing, motion design, animation or a related field, ideally seeking a final-year internship.

• An interest in technology, science or innovation. No prior knowledge of quantum computing is required.

Technical Skills

• Practical experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or equivalent editing and motion design tools.
• A good understanding of visual storytelling, composition, typography and pacing.
• Familiarity with audio editing, basic colour correction, subtitling and video export settings.
• An understanding of social media video formats, including vertical video and content designed to be understood without sound.
• Knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus; 3D animation skills are welcome but not required.

Soft Skills

• Creative curiosity and an interest in making complex subjects accessible.
• Attention to detail, with a strong sense of visual consistency and quality.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several assignments with support from the team.
• A collaborative approach, openness to feedback and willingness to ask questions.
• Initiative and a desire to develop your skills through hands‑on projects.

Languages

• Excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to edit and subtitle English-language content.
• French is a plus.
