About the Job

To be accountable for managing Project Vendor Performance (VPM) activities for the Purchase Orders assigned to her / him, coordinating the involved shop expeditor(s) / inspector(s), in order to achieve the supply conformity against the contractual requirements during the Purchase Order execution, in terms of delivery date and manufacturing quality.

The VP Coordinator is also responsible for :

  • Monitoring the man-hours budget assigned on the Project.
  • Preparation of all required summary reports to the Project.

She / he reports operationally to the Project Vendor Performance Manager and directly supervises payroll expeditors / inspectors 2sd Party Agency assignment.

The Key interactions (internally and externally) are with Suppliers, 2sd Party Agencies, Partners, Notifying Authorities, Clients, Project team, Procurement, Engineering, Quality Assurance and VP Resources Management Coordinator.

The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

  • Contract review and preparation of relevant VPM project procedures.
  • Define the expediting and inspection levels according to the Criticality Analysis provided by the Project.
  • Prepare the request for Expeditor or Inspector / 2sd Party Agency assignment.
  • Monitor the man-hours budget assigned on the project.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation to perform activities are timely available.
  • Organize Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) / Hand-Over Meetings (HOM), ensuring predecessors are achieved.
  • Ensuring that Expeditors or Inspectors / 2sd Party Agency follow VPM Project specifications.
  • Check VPM Project deliverables (Pre-Inspection Meeting report, Expediting Report, Inspection Report, Inspection Release Note), before proper distribution to the Project Team.
  • Prepare required reports to Project Team relevant to VPM status (Monthly Expediting Report, Expediting Execution Plan).
  • Attend VPM recurrent meetings called by Project Procurement Manager and take part of HOM / KOM with the Supplier, as necessary
  • Ensure and validating the updating progress in IT tools (SmartMaterials).
  • Define with the Project Team and in cooperation with the shop Inspectors, any modification to the inspection / expediting levels and any mitigation program and / or recovery plan, in order to ensure the contractual requirement in terms on delivery date and manufacturing quality.
  • Organize and attend meetings at Supplier (and / or Sub-supplier) premises and / or in T.EN offices with Inspectors when deemed necessary.
