We are looking for a digitalization enthusiast that is actively driving the digital change in our Value Chain (from supplier to delivery) by creating value for our business customer, extending our digital backbone and developing technology standards. You’ll strongly contribute to our Value Chain Digitalization strategy and drive initiatives / projects accordingly. You’ll be based at our global headquarter in Baden, Switzerland and report to the Head of Manufacturing Technology and Investments.

With the full standardization of digitally assisted manufacturing processes and an in-house interface to fully automated cells we laid the foundation to become a digital factory. With your high level of motivation, your digital expertise as well as your proven programming and analytical skills, you will play a key role in bringing our company a big step forward towards industry 4.0 and with that generate significant business value to further increase our competitiveness. You will be part of the business unit Supply & Value Chain Excellence.

Your responsibilities:

Extend our digital backbone from supplier to delivery to scale digitalization in our Value Chain
Translate business needs into IT language and implement them in interdisciplinary teams, make solutions visible to the company
Prioritize business needs by estimating the added value
Optimization of our value chain in the area of process automatization, digitalization, and operational excellence to improve safety, quality, OTD and costs, based on our digital strategic initiatives
Drive and implement technological innovation i.e. digital solutions in our process and system landscape, according to our digital strategic initiatives
Develop technology standards in our factory and beyond (from supplier to delivery)
Drive with all your activities the digital change in Accelleron
Developing in-depth understanding of our value chain processes, to find innovative solutions to complex questions

Your background:

Degree in a relevant engineering, IT, or data science discipline, combined with a profound understanding of digitalization
Proven programming skills, as well as outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
Experience in the area of digitalization of processes in production, logistics, supply chain, maintenance and quality
Experience with system architectures and interface conception
Experience in the machine industry as an asset
Entrepreneurial spirit at the core and intrinsic wish to drive digital change
Strong interest in problem solving and interdisciplinary teamwork
Solution oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style. A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn
Fluency in English required, German as a plus
