In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the technical illustrations for product documentation. You will be part of a small, motivated documentation team, which is affiliated with the technical service.

Your responsibilities:

• Creation, maintenance and management of illustrations and animations for the technical product documentation for all Accelleron products.

• Complete ownership of Spare Parts Catalog, Customer Data Packages, Outline Drawings, etc.

• Creation and maintenance of assembly instructions for the product groups.

• Drawing work according to specified processes and targets.

• Orientation towards the respective plans and deadlines of the product groups.

• Further development of the illustrations and animations according to the respective requirements of the customers and editors.

• Advice and support in the mentioned work area for internal customers and editors.

• Professional storage of data and traceability of change statuses.

• Independent research of all necessary data and information, which are necessary for processing the orders.

• Leading or collaborating in documentation projects. This involves close cooperation with the Product Development, Design and Service Departments.

Your background:

• Mechanical background and/or Higher Education in Technical School or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in the field of Technical Documentation.

• Background in creating high standard of illustrations and animations.

• Knowledge of global standards on graphic, safety information, signs & symbols is an added advantage.

• Technical know-how on Graphic Creation Process for Product Documentation.

• Working Knowledge of Catia Composer and Adobe Illustrator, any other graphic tool is an added advantage.

• Independent, precise and punctual way of working.

• Knowledge and experience of using Component Content Management Systems (CCMS), Schema ST4 is an added advantage.

• Good written and spoken English. German language skills would be an added advantage.

Stellenbeschreibung

In dieser Funktion sind Sie für die Erstellung und Pflege der technischen Illustrationen zur Produktdokumentation verantwortlich. Sie sind Teil eines kleinen, motivierten Dokumentationsteams, das dem technischen Service angegliedert ist.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Erstellung, Pflege und Verwaltung von Illustrationen und Animationen für die technische Produktdokumentation aller Accelleron Produkte.

• Vollständige Verantwortung für Ersatzteilkataloge, Kundendatenpakete, Massbilder etc.

• Erstellung und Pflege von Montageanleitungen für die Produktgruppen.

• Zeichenarbeiten nach vorgegebenen Prozessen und Zielen.

• Orientierung an den jeweiligen Plänen und Terminen der Produktgruppen.

• Weiterentwicklung der Illustrationen und Animationen nach den jeweiligen Anforderungen der Kunden und Redakteure.

• Beratung und Unterstützung im genannten Arbeitsbereich für interne Kunden und Redakteure.

• Fachgerechte Datenhaltung und Nachvollziehbarkeit von Änderungsständen.

• Selbstständige Recherche aller notwendigen Daten und Informationen, die für die Abwicklung der Aufträge notwendig sind.

• Leitung oder Mitarbeit an Dokumentationsprojekten. Dabei erfolgt eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Abteilungen Produktentwicklung, Konstruktion und Service.

Ihre Anforderungen:

• Maschinenbau-Hintergrund und/oder Hochschulbildung an einer technischen Schule oder Abschluss in Maschinenbau.

• Erfahrung im Bereich der technischen Dokumentation.

• Erfahrung in der Erstellung hochwertiger Illustrationen und Animationen.

• Kenntnisse globaler Standards für Grafiken, Sicherheitsinformationen, Zeichen und Symbole sind von Vorteil.

• Technisches Know-how im grafischen Erstellungsprozess für Produktdokumentationen.

• Praktische Kenntnisse von Catia Composer und Adobe Illustrator sowie anderen Grafiktools sind von Vorteil.

• Selbstständige, präzise und pünktliche Arbeitsweise.

• Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Component Content Management Systems (CCMS), Schema ST4 sind von Vorteil.

• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift. Deutschkenntnisse wären von Vorteil.
