One Mobility Group, a leading automotive/electronics integration specialist, is seeking a Process Engineer - Ultrasonic welding in the EMEA region (France: Masevaux). You will lead process engineering across plants, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and ensure robust, scalable production methods.

You will own end-to-end process topics across the product lifecycle, support RFQ activities, and mentor local engineers while traveling 20-40% yearly. Fluent English required; German helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, etc.).
• IATF 16949 knowledge.
• Fluent English; German is nice to have.
• Weld engineer or mechanical engineer experience (process area).
• Experience in ultrasonic welding is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience mandatory (automotive preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Willingness to travel 20-40% yearly.

We are looking for

Process Engineer - Ultra sonic welding (m/f/d)

at one of our locations in EMEA region - Germany (Reutlingen), France (Masevaux)

Your tasks:

1. Technical Leadership & Competency Management

Primary contact and technical lead for local Process Engineers within their respective area of specialization

Ensure training, qualification, and continuous development of local Process Engineering functions across all plants

Ensure effective know-how transfer between plants in both directions

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing plants worldwide in process-related matters

Define, standardize, and continuously develop global process standards

Own end-to-end responsibility for process-related topics throughout the entire product lifecycle

Serve as Process Owner for the Master Process FMEA (P-FMEA) to ensure a consistent global risk management approach

Monitor compliance with industry standards and quality requirements

Analyze current-state processes and perform gap analyses against target-state requirements

Develop, implement, and continuously optimize robust and scalable production processes

Improve efficiency, productivity, and quality while sustainably reducing costs and downtime

Utilize KPIs and established methodologies such as Lean Management and Six Sigma for problem solving and process improvement

Systematically capture and roll out lessons learned across plants to drive continuous improvement

Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities

Ensure on-time procurement of machinery, including support and participation in FAT/SAT activities, while adhering to budget targets

Lead and coordinate continuous improvement and optimization projects

Conduct proactive technology scouting and trend monitoring to advance manufacturing processes and capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of:
  • Automotive Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, etc.)
  • IATF 16949
• Fluent English skills (German is nice to have)
• Weld engineer or mechanical engineer experience (acc. To process area)
• Experience in ultra sonic welding is nice to have
• Experience in manufacturing is mandatory (automotive is nice to have)
• 2-5 years of experience in process engineering
• Willingness to travel (20-40% yearly)
