Jobtailor is seeking an experienced water engineering professional to lead urban hydraulics projects in Nancy, France. You will manage drinking water and wastewater master plans, perform diagnostic studies, and drive capital works programs while coordinating teams and ensuring financial performance.

The role requires five or more years in water engineering, strong procurement knowledge, and the ability to produce GIS maps for infrastructure planning. Disability-friendly hiring is supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering (preferably from ENGEES, ENSE3, ENSEEIHT or ENSIP)
• At least 5 years’ experience in water engineering
• Proven expertise in urban hydraulics
• Strong knowledge of public procurement
• Comfortable leading and coordinating teams
• Ability to solve technical challenges

Responsabilités

• Contribute to drinking water, wastewater and stormwater studies
• Lead drinking water and wastewater master plans
• Conduct diagnostic studies and propose capital works programs
• Conduct tariff studies
• Produce GIS maps, including network plans, construction plans and flood-prone areas
• Conduct asset management studies for networks and infrastructure
• Provide technical assistance to the project owner for assignments related to the urban water cycle
• Plan the team’s workload
• Supervise deliverables, project progress and financial performance
• Contribute to tender responses and pre-sales activities
• Participate in client meetings and lead workshops
• Ensure regular contractual and accounting follow-up for projects
• Participate in the agency’s field projects under the responsibility of the Agency Director
