Job summary

Glencoe Software seeks a UK-based Applications Specialist to support research data workflows and drive customer success entirely remotely. You will engage researchers in academia, biotech and pharma, delivering training, workshops and troubleshooting while developing documentation and marketing content.

With strong life sciences experience and scripting skills (Python, MATLAB, R), you will collaborate across engineering, product and applications teams and represent Glencoe at conferences.

Qualifications

• Experience in life sciences or biomedical R&D.
• Ability to present complex workflows to users.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, R).
• Familiarity with image analysis tools in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical applications support and consultation on research data workflows.
• Identify, develop and close high-value sales opportunities.
• Create technical documentation and marketing materials, including release notes, blog posts and webinars.
• Work with Engineering, Product and Applications teams on training and documentation.
• Represent Glencoe Software at industry conferences and workshops.
• Travel occasionally to work with strategic customers across North America.
