Job summary

AIRBUS SAS is seeking an experienced Airbus Type Rating Instructor / Examiner (TRI/TRE) based in Blagnac (Toulouse). The role covers flight and simulator training for international customers and involves coordination with TFOS and cross-border teams.

The TRI/TRE will work with various teams worldwide and may advance into management or project roles. The contract is based in Blagnac, with mobility possible after the initial years in the execution department.

Qualifications

• Hold an EASA ATPL Licence.
• Hold a Valid EASA TRI on A320+A330/A350 LIFUS.
• Hold a Valid EASA Medical Class 1.
• Minimum English Level 4.
• Low Visibility Operations qualification (Autoland on FBW).
• ETOPS qualification preferred.
• 5,000+ hours as Pilot.
• 2,000+ hours on Jet Large aircraft.
• 2,500+ hours as Captain on Airbus Aircraft.
• 500+ hours instructor experience in FFS on large aircraft.
• 500 hours as Captain for LIFUS/IOE.

Responsibilities

• Acts as TRI/TRE for Airbus and conducts line training and line checking.
• Performs simulator training/checking for Airbus, mainly in Toulouse.
• Supports TFOS community and office activities.
• Represents Airbus to customers and authorities in a professional manner.
• Maintains and upgrades competences and coordinates with airline teams.
