Job summary

Navan seeks a Travel Consultant to support users’ travel needs with air, rail, and hotel bookings. You’ll resolve issues, communicate effectively, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role is hybrid with onsite presence in Paris as required. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in travel consulting with GDS experience, fluency in French and English, and comfort with Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Travel Consultant for air, rail, and hotel bookings.
• 3+ years with a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Background in contact center or customer-facing roles.
• Proficient with Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
• Available for rotating shifts 7 AM–7 PM; hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier travel support via chat, calls, and emails.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on suppliers, destinations, and systems.
• Assess customer needs, urgency, and priorities.
• Handle hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings accurately.
• Guide customers in self-service options on Navan platform and app.
• Respond promptly to meet SLA expectations.
• Follow policies and ensure global compliance; escalate when needed.
• Provide feedback to stakeholders on progress and processes.
• Participate in team meetings on products, suppliers, and industry updates.
• Stay current on travel industry best practices.
• Maintain attendance and complete required training and metrics.
