  • Harmonize transportation processes, systems, and data across sites and functions.
  • Document and optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Identify and deploy best practices to improve efficiency and service performance.
  • Support sites in developing transportation and continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and operational excellence throughout the transportation network.
  • Manage strategic programs, network studies, and improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.
  • Drive planning, execution and successful delivery of complex projects within international and multicultural environments.
  • Monitor project risks, priorities, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate governance reviews and drive execution of agreed action plans.
  • Develop and maintain transportation performance dashboards and reporting.
  • Provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve transportation performance across the network.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative transportation solutions that combine operational excellence with sustainability objectives.

As Transportation Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in transforming and continuously improving Alstom’s global transportation network. Working at the crossroads of Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Digital and Operations, you will help shape the future of transportation management by driving harmonized processes, operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and sustainable logistics solutions across our global footprint.


This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment, lead complex transformation initiatives, and contribute directly to improving operational performance while supporting Alstom’s ambition to make transportation more efficient and sustainable.


Drive process excellence


  • Harmonize transportation processes, systems, and data across sites and functions.

  • Document and optimize end-to-end processes.

  • Identify and deploy best practices to improve efficiency and service performance.

  • Support sites in developing transportation and continuous improvement capabilities.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and operational excellence throughout the transportation network.


Lead transformation projects


  • Manage strategic programs, network studies, and improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.

  • Drive the planning, execution and successful delivery of complex projects within international and multicultural environments.

  • Monitor project risks, priorities, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.

Enable performance and sustainability


  • Develop and maintain transportation performance dashboards and reporting.

  • Provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve transportation performance across the network.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative transportation solutions that combine operational excellence with sustainability objectives.


Profile


  • Experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain.

  • Minimum 2 years, in similar position

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actions.

  • Comfortable working in complex, international, and cross-functional environments.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering sustainable results.
