CERBAIR, a leader in anti-drone technology, seeks a Training Manager / Instructional Designer to design, implement and assure the quality of training programs for our systems, for clients in France and internationally. You will translate technical expertise into structured curricula, create learning paths, modules and assessments, and oversee training delivery under the Customer Success Department.

As part of our business expansion, we are looking for a Training Manager / Instructional Designer (M/F).
As part of the Customer Success Department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and quality of the training programs associated with our systems.
Your role lies at the intersection of three areas:
training design and instructional design;
management of training and customer relations projects;
understanding of a complex technological environment.
You translate CERBAIR’s technical expertise into structured, practical training programs tailored to different user profiles, both in France and internationally.
This position is primarily intended for a training or Learning & Development professional who is capable of thriving in a demanding industrial and technological environment.

Analyze skill requirements based on customer usage, technical documentation, and changes to our systems.
Design learning paths, modules, and instructional materials: theoretical, practical, and immersive training programs.
Define the learning objectives, prerequisites, and expected skill levels.
Develop theoretical and practical assessment tools to validate learning outcomes.
Develop and maintain documentation packages and training materials—both generic and tailored to specific client needs.
Plan and coordinate training sessions in France and internationally.
Oversee the training deliverables specified in client contracts.
Ensure that content is updated to reflect new software versions and changes to the CERBAIR systems.
Ensure the quality and proper implementation of training programs.
Ensure the traceability of trained individuals and their level of qualification.
Track the maintenance and development of skills over time.
Develop a Train the Trainer approach with our partners and support providers so that we have representatives capable of training end users internationally.
Collect and organize user feedback during training sessions.
Identify usability issues, educational needs, and areas for improvement.
Share lessons learned with the Customer Success, manufacturing, and technical teams to help drive the evolution of CERBAIR’s products and practices.
The position involves regular travel within France and abroad, particularly to visit institutional clients and military forces.
You have a college degree, ideally a master’s degree, in:
educational sciences / educational technology;
Learning & Development;
Human Resources with a specialization in training;
or a technical background supplemented by significant experience in designing training programs.
Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and leading training programs, preferably in a complex industrial, technological, or technical environment.
You have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of training design:
needs analysis;
definition of educational objectives;
creation of materials;
assessment tools;
skills assessment and development.
You don’t need to be an expert in radio frequencies or anti-drone systems, but you must be able to understand technical documentation, communicate with engineers, and translate their expertise into accessible and practical educational content.
Experience in the industrial, defense, aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, or complex systems sectors is a real asset.
You are comfortable interacting with clients and leading training sessions for diverse, international audiences.
Fluency in English, sufficient to design and lead training sessions, is essential.
Independence, teaching skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential for success in this position.
