Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a Compensation Specialist to join the Reward Center of Expertise. You will ensure pay structures are aligned with market data for the EMEA region and support global compensation processes with a focus on equity and transparency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, MS Excel proficiency, and experience in compensation within a multinational environment. Collaboration across countries and functions is essential, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a compensation environment or as a compensation consultant.
  • Knowledge and experience of compensation practices and disciplines, including salary survey analysis.
  • Exposure to grading and compensation structuring in a large multinational.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Advanced Excel.
  • Cross-functional and cross-country collaboration.

Responsabilités

  • Submit, analyze and evaluate market data for EMEA countries to run the annual pay structure review.
  • Support compensation processes and annual planning, deploying regional activities within EMEA.
  • Contribute to pay equity and transparency initiatives and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Oversee other compensation and benefits activities in the EMEA region and support mobility with global policy.
  • Advise and, when needed, train HR teams on compensation and benefits topics.

Job Description

Overview

The Compensation Specialist is part of the Reward Center of Expertise and will support the Compensation team either globally or in EMEA related activities. The objective of the role as Compensation Specialist is to ensure that Compensations policies and programs are executed consistently across the geographies and in compliance with local labor market conditions, legislation, and internal policies with the aim of overseeing operational excellence for our Reward Community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Market data: submit, analyze and evaluate market data for EMEA countries in order to run the annual review of pay structure. Regularly analyzing industry and market trends to maintain competitive compensation practices. Conduct market data research when necessary to support decision making process during recruitment or budgeting process.
  • Compensation process: support process improvements as and when required, contribute to the global planning of the annual compensation activities and support the regional CoE in the operational deployment of the annual compensation process. Actively participate in the preparation phase of the annual compensation process within EMEA region.
  • Pay Equity and Transparency: participate in the pay equity project to ensure compensation practices adhere to current legislation and act as support to regional teams on the topic. Run analysis on pay equity as and when necessary. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Pay Transparency within the organization, in alignment with the regional specificities and requirements.
  • Other activities in EMEA region oversees the compensation and benefits of employees in the organization, supports the mobility process within the region ensuring alignment with global policy, support the enhancement of local benefits and benefit communication campaign.
  • Advising, and when necessary, train and support, HR team members on compensation and benefit topics.
Qualifications

Experience

  • Experience in a compensation environment or as a compensation consultant.
  • Knowledge and experience of compensation practices and disciplines, inclusive of utilizing salary survey information to conduct and provide detailed analysis of functional, market and industry relevant compensations structure
  • Exposure to grading and compensation structuring, ideally within a large multinational organization
  • Have a data-driven mind-set and strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions, and formulate recommendations
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Advanced Excel, are mandatory
  • Cross functional and cross-country collaboration
