Job summary

Faurecia is seeking a Tooling Specialist to oversee the design, manufacturing, and testing of tooling for new programs, ensuring alignment with plant objectives and Faurecia's Code of Ethics.

The role includes coaching tooling maintenance teams, coordinating tooling maintenance plans, analyzing failures and costs, and implementing improvements, while ensuring HSE and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or Bac+2 in General Mechanics with relevant experience.
• Proven tooling experience and familiarity with tooling maintenance.
• Experience in project management and coordinating complex tooling projects.
• Knowledge of machining processes, costs, and lead-time management.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional level of English required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new tooling complies with HSE standards and meets QCDP objectives during industrialization.
• Verify consistency between tooling drawings and actual tool components for maintainability.
• Design maintenance plans with tooling suppliers and analyze critical spare parts.
• Train Toolmakers on new tooling features and technologies.
• Analyze recurring failures and maintenance costs; implement corrective actions.
• Implement productivity and continuous improvement actions, and manage ECRs.
• Coordinate tooling refurbishment projects and investment planning as needed.
• Ensure Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Management Code are followed.
