Job summary

GE Vernova in Belfort, France, seeks a Lead generator tooling and methods engineer to drive tooling design and associated methods for upgrades and non-standard repairs. You will oversee 2D/3D deliverables, RPDM(Open Text) workflows and collaborate across the Generator design team and regional engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Repair Development.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling design and methods activities for generator upgrades and repairs.
• Interact with generator design team, contingent workers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, including calculations and documentation.
• Lead customer meetings and contribute to NPI and RTS phases.
• Develop and maintain tooling and method solutions for stators/rotors and uprates.
• Prepare inputs for costing of engineering hours and hardware; validate solutions.
