Stormshield, the leading French publisher and European cybersecurity player, is seeking a Test Manager to join the SUN product team in Lyon. You will drive product quality across SaaS modules and coordinate testing across multiple internal teams and external components.

You will implement testing strategies, establish quality metrics, and lead continuous improvements in test automation, performance testing and end-to-end testing for the platform.

Test Manager: at a glance

Stormshield, the leading French publisher and a reference European player in cybersecurity, is a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes and offers innovative, certified and European‑level qualified security products for protecting networks and data. Within Stormshield’s R&D—and more precisely the teams developing new, strategic SaaS solutions for the company— we are looking for a Test Manager.

Your challenges for tomorrow: bring your full product‑quality expertise to a transversal scope that includes SaaS modules managing hardware firewalls and agents deployed on workstations and mobile phones. Your area therefore covers a product that integrates several modules managed by different internal teams, as well as system‑test teams (end‑to‑end testing).

You speak ISTQB, feel responsible for what is delivered, know several product‑quality tools and can listen while standing firm on strong convictions.

What are the responsibilities of the Test Manager?

• Support the Product Quality Leads of your scope on the testing strategy, with the goal of guaranteeing reliable delivery;
• Provide your technical and functional expertise to the team to spot possible improvements, blockers, and to prioritize and drive the resulting actions;
• Implement indicators to measure quality and its evolution;
• Align and coordinate teams by proposing methods, scopes and testing tools that clarify each team’s responsibilities and technical/functional interfaces, especially during production roll‑outs;
• Track major customer feedback (bugs/escalations/improvements) to ensure they are properly addressed by the teams;
• Set up a system that continuously delivers as many applications as possible while guaranteeing permanent inter‑compatibility;
• Champion quality across the board, working closely with the Product Owner and the Product Security Lead;
• Promote the product‑quality vision to decision‑makers, especially the Product Managers;
• Lead the RQP team towards continuous improvement (test automation, performance testing, regression testing, etc.).

What is the technical environment?

• Multi‑language development environment: .Net, Node.js, Typescript, React, Rust, etc.;
• Platforms: Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS;
• Testing tools & repositories: JIRA, XRay, Yogi;
• Automated testing: Cucumber, Gherkin, Playwright;
• Project management: Operational Agile/Scrum with roadmap management.

Which team?

You will work closely with the Product Owner and the Product Security Lead, as well as with the Product Quality Leads of the different modules. Your interactions will be both internal and external to the team.

SUN is the new centralized administration console for Stormshield’s network security infrastructures. Offered as an online service, it lets you manage the whole fleet of Stormshield Network Security (SNS) firewalls as well as a set of agents that provide remote‑access and ZeroTrust services, enhancing the protection and visibility of your network. Everything is accessible through a single web interface.
