Stormshield, the leading French publisher and a reference European player in cybersecurity, is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join the Mesh Unified Management (MUM) team in Lyon. You will design and automate test scenarios, analyze results and drive improvements in the testing process.

You will work in an Agile environment, using Python, Cucumber, Playwright and TypeScript, with Jira, XRay, and GitLab CI. The role offers 3 days remote per week and a CDI contract.

Responsabilités

• Participate in defining the product test strategy;
• Design test scenarios and automate them;
• Analyse test results;

• Propose improvements to the testing process;
• Act as the go‑to person for test automation and help other QAs ramp up their skills in this area.

Automation QA Engineer:

To support our growth, we are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with solid technical knowledge, autonomy, team spirit and passion.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in IT security, a sense of responsibility and several years of experience in software quality—especially test automation)- and is motivated to contribute to the excellence of our products.

What are the responsibilities of the Automation QA Engineer?

• Participate in defining the product test strategy;

• Design test scenarios and automate them;

• Analyse test results;

• Characterise, prioritise and report all anomalies encountered during testing phases;

• Propose improvements to the testing process;

• Act as the go‑to person for test automation and help other QAs ramp up their skills in this area.

Which team?

You will join the MUM team, managed by Nina. The team consists of more than 30 people (Developers, QAs, Technical Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Quality Manager and Support Leads), split into four sub-teams and organised in two-week sprints.
