SEIDOR is hiring a Test Engineer in Strasbourg to drive quality across products and releases. You will define testing scope, plan activities, and write test cases and data, including automation where possible.

You will run tests, report outcomes, and continuously improve testing approaches, with a focus on API testing, database validation, and UI validation within complex enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant testing experience.
• Proven ability to create efficient test approaches and plans.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience with DBs and SQL.
• Experience testing UI-based applications.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios.
• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools.
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases.
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

The consultant must demonstrate experience in:

• Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of tasks.
• Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience using DBs and SQL.
• Experience testing UI based applications.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.
• Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns.
• Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis.
• Test and Defect Management tools.
• Experience in complex, enterprise system integration.
