EUROPEAN DYNAMICS in France is seeking a Senior Test Engineer fluent in English to join the Development team, working on site at the company premises or at customer premises in France.

You will define test scope, plan activities, create and execute test cases, automate where possible, and report results. The role requires 7+ years IT experience, strong API testing, SQL, containerized environments, and experience with test and defect management in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• University degree combined with IT experience of at least 7 years.
• Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience using DBs and SQL, containerized solutions and observability tools.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.
• Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods.
• Defect management including prioritization and root cause analysis.
• Experience in complex, enterprise system integration.
• End User (UAT) management.
• Experience with Test and Defect Management tools.
• Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies.
• Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with tech teams and communicate test campaign outcomes.
• Excellent command of English.

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Test Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in France. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

Tasks:

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios;
• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools;
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases;
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome;
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach;
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.
