Job summary

IDnow Group is seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer based in Rennes, France. In this role, you will build and maintain automated tests across Web, API, and Mobile platforms, contributing to end-to-end automations of workflows. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, familiarity with Python, and automation tools like Selenium and Appium. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement of testing practices. Excellent English and working proficiency in French are required.

• Experience with Selenium / Playwright for web automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.
• Strong REST API testing using Python requests.
• Knowledge of microservices and integration testing.
• CI/CD exposure and understanding of pipeline stages.
• Self-driven, proactive, and hands-on.
• Strong debugging and analytical mindset.
• Capable of owning automation tasks end-to-end.
• Comfortable across backend, web, and mobile automation.
• Fluent English and working proficiency in French is required.

This position is based in Rennes, France.

We are looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer who can strengthen our product quality across Web, API, and Mobile platforms. In this role, you will build and maintain automated tests, validate end-to-end workflows, and support the stability of customer-facing integrations. You will collaborate with developers, embedded QA engineers, and platform teams to ensure releases meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Automation

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for Web, Mobile (Appium), and Backend API flows.
• Implement integration tests across microservices using mocks, stubs, and reference backservers.
