Clipperton Finance Limited in Paris is seeking a Technology M&A Associate to support technology transactions from day one, conduct market analyses, and help win new mandates. You will work closely with teams across the firm to deliver strategic and financial advisory services for technology-focused clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in investment banking, strategy consulting, audit, or tech in a leadership role, with strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, and excellent

Position: Technology M&A Associate

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent contract offer

Your Role

• Support our teams on technology M&A transactions from day one
• Conduct market and competitor analyses
• Help the teams pitch for and win new, challenging mandates
• Prepare company valuations using trading multiples, DCF and LBO analysis
• Build target and investor lists
• Work in an international, open-minded, diverse and thoughtful environment, contributing to the best outcomes for our clients

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical, financial and client-driven skills. Strong intellectual discipline and a passion for technology are also necessary.

The ideal candidate would :

• Have a minimum of 3 years experience working in investment banking, strategic consultancy, audit, or the technology industry (in a leadership role).
• Have a strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting.
• Have a strong academic record, with a preference for Tier 1 European Business and Engineering schools or universities.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory).
• Demonstrates a strong interest in both entrepreneurship and technology (previous digital oriented or tech-focused experiences appreciated).
