Job summary

Clipperton, an investment bank focused on technology and growth companies, seeks a Technology M&A Associate in Paris. You will support day-one M&A transactions, build market analyses, and help win mandates in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in finance or tech-related roles, strong corporate finance knowledge, and fluency in French and English. The role offers an permanent contract and operates from Paris with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in investment banking, strategic consultancy, audit, or the technology industry (in a leadership role).
• Strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory).
• Demonstrates a strong interest in both entrepreneurship and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support our teams on technology M&A transactions from day one.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses.
• Help the teams pitch for and win new, challenging mandates.
• Prepare company valuations using trading multiples, DCF and LBO analysis.
• Build target and investor lists.
• Work in an international, open-minded, diverse and thoughtful environment, contributing to the best outcomes for our clients.
