Job summary

Clipperton, a leading technology-focused investment bank, is seeking a Technology M&A Associate in Paris. You will support technology M&A transactions from day one, perform market analyses, and help win new mandates.

The role requires 3+ years in IB/consulting/tech, strong corporate finance knowledge, and fluent French and English. You will build valuations (trading multiples, DCF, LBO) and create target/investor lists.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in investment banking, strategic consultancy, audit, or the technology industry (in a leadership role).
• Strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting.
• Strong academic record, with a preference for Tier 1 European Business and Engineering schools or universities.
• Fluent in French and English (mandatory).
• Demonstrates a strong interest in both entrepreneurship and technology (tech-focused experiences appreciated).

Your Role

• Support our teams on technology M&A transactions from day one

Requirements

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical, financial and client-driven skills. Strong intellectual discipline and a passion for technology are also necessary.

The ideal candidate would :

• Have a minimum of 3 years experience working in investment banking, strategic consultancy, audit, or the technology industry (in a leadership role)
• Have a strong knowledge in corporate finance and accounting
• Have a strong academic record, with a preference for Tier 1 European Business and Engineering schools or universities.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory).
• Demonstrates a strong interest in both entrepreneurship and technology (previous digital oriented or tech-focused experiences appreciated).
