Clipperton Finance Limited in Paris is seeking an Analyst Intern for a 6-month internship starting January or March 2027. The role supports transaction execution across the full cycle, from kickoff to closing, including preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and financial analysis.

You should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with international exposure, be entrepreneurial and analytical, and communicate fluently in French and English; prior M&A experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; international experience preferred.
• Analytical and commercial thinking with strong communication and intercultural skills.
• Prior M&A experience at IB, PE or VC; interest in technology-based transactions.
• Fluent in French and English; German or Spanish a plus.

Job description

In order to support its strong execution pipeline and marketing efforts, the firm is currently looking to hire an Analyst Intern for a 6-month internship based in Paris.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support existing and upcoming transactions throughout the entire process, from kick-off to closing:
• Preparation of investment memoranda and presentations (industry study, strategic review, financial analysis)
• Business plan modelling
• Due diligence management

• Support commercial & marketing efforts
• Preparation of commercial presentations / pitches (screenings, company profiles, positioning, valuation, deal strategy)
• Identification of new prospects
• Participation in the preparation of sectoral research papers and other marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• You have a strong academical background with a Bachelor or Masters degree and ideally gained first international experience
• You are an entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills and finance proficiency
• You have prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital funds and you are interested in technology based transactions
• You can handle pressure and work under tight deadlines, you are curious and analytical, you are a team player and like exposure to senior management
• Written and spoken proficiency in French and English is a must, German or Spanish a plus
