TFMO SAS is seeking a Team Manager Accounting to lead a local finance team of about four FTEs and drive professionalization of processes, reporting, and compliance in France. You will actively contribute to day-to-day accounting activities and serve as the link between local entities and Group Finance.

The role covers monthly, quarterly and annual closings, payroll-related provisions, VAT filings, audits, and interactions with the HQ Finance team.

Qualifications

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• You bring at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international, multi-entity, or group environment.
• You have proven people management skills and enjoy coaching, motivating, and developing a team.
• You possess a solid understanding of French accounting principles (French GAAP) and are comfortable operating in a complex financial environment.
• You have hands-on experience with statutory audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements in France.
• You combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and are willing to actively contribute to accounting activities and payroll controlling when needed.
• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
• You communicate fluently in French and have a professional level of English, allowing you to collaborate effectively in an international setting.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the local finance team (AP, AR, GL).
• Structure and optimize roles, processes, and responsibilities.
• Build a high-performing and reliable finance organization.
• Actively contribute to accounting activities (GL, closings, complex entries).
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of financial data.
• Support AP, AR, and invoicing activities.
• Review payroll entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to the Group.
• Implement Group guidelines, accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Be the main contact for HQ Finance (consolidation, controlling, audit).
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Responsible for VAT filings, corporate income tax, and local obligations.
• Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Act as contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
• Play an active role in financial systems implementation and optimization.
• Drive digitalization and standardization of processes.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors and external partners.
• Act as sparring partner for local management and Group Finance.

YOUR CHALLENGES
