Job summary

Socomec at the Huttenheim industrial site seeks a Team Leader for the Receiving team (about 10 people) to ensure smooth goods receiving and to act as the link between team and managers. You will organize activities, lead meetings, and manage ERP tasks while promoting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include onboarding and training staff, monitoring performance, enforcing quality and safety standards, and driving efficiency in receiving and storage operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading logistics teams.
• Experience operating industrial vehicles/equipment.
• Proficiency in IT tools (ERP, Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate receiving activities according to priorities and workflow requirements (communicate priorities, ensure the proper functioning of equipment and resources to support operations, liaise with other departments, etc.).
• Lead the team and facilitate established routines and meetings (Top 5, 5S Management, Fabriq).
• Participate in problem-solving processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and track operational performance indicators.
• Contribute to the development of work standards and conduct standard audits.
• Manage administrative tasks within the ERP system and coordinate interfaces with the logistics subcontractor.
• Onboard, support, and train new employees on operational standards.
• Foster skills development and multi-skilling within the team.
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote proper ergonomic practices.

At the Huttenheim industrial site, you will be in charge of the Receiving team (approximately 10 people) and ensuring the smooth execution of goods receiving operations.
The Team Leader is a key link in the operational management system of the workshops and in the deployment of the operational excellence culture. The Team Leader represents the team in interactions with internal customer and supplier departments. He acts as the vital communication link between the manager and the team.
