Stellar is seeking a System Test Engineer to ensure QA across embedded software and hardware, spanning networking and mobility use cases. You will design tests, verify STEER EDGE/GATEWAY on GLOBBLE hardware, and coordinate with DevOps and management to validate releases.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, Python/Shell automation, and experience with embedded Linux (OpenWrt a plus). English proficiency is essential; French a plus. Competitive QE environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on software or systems testing in embedded, networking or telecom contexts.
• Strong networking fundamentals and Linux experience (Debian).
• Experience designing automated test suites and frameworks (Python/Shell).

Responsabilités

• Design and execute test strategies to ensure quality and correct behaviour of software and hardware modules.
• Test STEER EDGE and STEER Gateway software on GLOBBLE hardware platforms, including multipath networking and VPN.
• Validate STEER Management releases across dev, QA and production with DevOps teams.
• Plan and execute field trials of GLOBBLE units in varied network conditions.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline QA.
• Prepare test documentation and validation reports for internal or customer milestones.
• Drive continuous QA process improvements using Agile and DevOps practices.
• Identify, document and track defects, providing clear reproduction steps.
