Stellar is seeking a System Test Engineer to strengthen our QA efforts across embedded and networking domains. You will validate software and hardware integration on GLOBBLE platforms, perform field trials, and develop automated testing frameworks to improve reliability.

Collaborating with DevOps and management teams, you will generate test plans and documentation while ensuring high standards of quality and security in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on testing in embedded, networking, or telecom environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals and Linux administration (Debian).
• Experience designing automated test suites and frameworks (Python, Shell).
• Hands-on with hardware for field trials and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Ability to write clear, actionable bug reports with steps, root cause, logs.
• Familiarity with Jira and GitLab CI.
• Experience writing formal test plans and customer deliverables.
• Professional English skills; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute test strategies to ensure software and hardware quality.
• Test STEER EDGE and Gateway on GLOBBLE hardware, including multipath networking and firmware updates.
• Validate STEER Management releases across dev, QA, and production with DevOps teams.
• Plan and execute field trials of GLOBBLE units in varied networks.
• Maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline QA.
• Ensure test environments meet resources and configurations for valid validation.
• Maintain automated test-reporting tooling and promote repeatable QA methods.
• Identify, document, track defects and work with developers for resolution.
• Produce formal test documentation and validation reports.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes with Agile/DevOps practices.
