SUMMIT Paris is seeking a System Engineer to join its launch team, responsible for on‑premise and cloud servers, backups, and 24/7 availability. You will manage upgrades, monitoring, security, and capacity planning while delivering reports to leadership.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hybrid server administration, fluent English and French, and expertise with Windows Server, Azure, AD, SQL, VMware ESX, Citrix, and storage technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hybrid – on-premise/cloud server landscape administration is required.
• Microsoft Azure experience is a strong plus.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Conversational/working fluency in both English and French.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, VMware ESX, Citrix, Backup Systems, SAN/NAS Technologies and Server Hardware, Microsoft Office Suite, data center management and archiving, on- and off-line web access, email archiving, and encryption.
• Comfortable with Microsoft 365 productivity applications.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for maintaining, administering, and operating on-premise and cloud servers and systems.
• Analyze and resolve first and second-level problems with the local area network Windows servers and resident 3rd-party vendor software.
• Assist management in preparing strategic plans for server stability, growth, and capacity planning.
• Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed.
• Provide metrics and reports as directed by management. Evaluate software alternatives.
• Research and install new systems. Keep up to date with the latest technologies.
• Schedule upgrades, system design, and security backups. Maintain current security knowledge.
• Lead, organize, and maintain compliance documentation, licensure, project planning, test data, and testing plans across enterprise IT function.
• Create and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with industry’s best practices.
• Provide hands-on coverage and backup where necessary to ensure stability, project completion and adherence to best practices. Manage maintenance outages for 24/7 availability.
• Oversee and coordinate upkeep of company servers and related hardware components. This includes installation, configuration, management, troubleshooting, system health monitoring, performance analysis, firmware upgrade maintenance, and warranty repair coordination. Manage storage via capacity planning, storage provisioning file permissions.
• Work in tandem with local and Group’s Information Security team to complete system security auditing, breach searching, threat evaluation, anti-virus management, web filtering, etc.
• Ensure effective disaster recovery through design, development, and testing of critical systems. Database mirroring, file replication, and tape restoration are included in the scope of these duties.
• Support software systems via installation and configuration of Operating systems (Windows and ESX), 3rd-party software (Backup, Antivirus, Citrix), patching, and performance analysis.
• Configure and monitor the health of Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities

Dans le cadre de son lancement, SUMMIT Paris recherche un(e) Ingénieur Systèmes.

Missions principales

• Assurer la maintenance, l’administration et l’exploitation des serveurs et systèmes on-premise et cloud de SUMMIT Paris ;
• Analyser et résoudre les incidents de niveaux 1 et 2 relatifs aux serveurs Windows déployés localement, et aux logiciels tiers qui en constituent la pile applicative ;
• Assister la Direction du département IT dans la définition des stratégies d’adaptation aux besoins et de maintien en conditions opérationnelles du parc serveurs ;
• Participer aux mises à niveau et aux opérations de dépannage en horaires décalés et assurer des astreintes lorsque nécessaire ;
• Produire les indicateurs et rapports demandés par l’encadrement. Évaluer les alternatives logicielles possibles ;
• Procéder à des tests d’installation et de déploiement de systèmes innovants. Assurer une veille technologique permanente ;
• Planifier les mises à niveau, le déploiement et la sécurité des systèmes de sauvegarde. Documenter les procédures de cybersécurité appliquées ;
• Superviser, organiser et maintenir à jour la documentation concernant la conformité, les licences, la planification des projets, les données de test et les plans de validation pour l’ensemble de la fonction informatique de l’entreprise ;
• Créer et maintenir les politiques et procédures applicables conformément aux bonnes pratiques du secteur ;
• Réaliser l’ensemble des tâches d’exploitation, directement ou en support des autres Ingénieur(e)s Systèmes, nécessaires à la continuité de service, la stabilité des systèmes, l’aboutissement des projets et le respect des bonnes pratiques. Concilier les opérations de maintenance avec un objectif de disponibilité 24/7 des systèmes ;
• Superviser et coordonner la maintenance des serveurs de l’entreprise et des équipements associés. Cela comprend l’installation, la configuration, l’administration, le dépannage, le suivi de l’état de santé des systèmes, l’analyse des performances, les mises à jour de micrologiciels, la coordination des réparations sous garantie, la gestion des capacités de stockage et l’allocation et les droits d’accès aux ressources ;
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes cybersécurité locale et Groupe lors de la réalisation des audits de sécurité, la détection de failles, l’évaluation des menaces, la gestion des solutions de protection des terminaux, le filtrage des flux web, etc.

Profil recherché

• Diplômé(e) de l’enseignement supérieur niveau licence ou autre Bac+3 avec une spécialisation en administration des systèmes informatiques, systèmes d’information ou équivalent. Une expérience confirmée d’au moins 2 ans dans l’administration d’un parc hybride on-premise/cloud est requise ;
• Une expérience de Microsoft Azure constitue un atout majeur ;
• Excellentes capacités à communiquer à l’écrit comme à l’oral ;
• Bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral ;
• Expertise avérée des technologies suivantes : Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, VMware ESX, Citrix, solutions de sauvegarde, technologies SAN/NAS et matériels serveurs, suite Microsoft Office, l’exploitation d’actifs en centres de données, les accès web en et hors ligne, l’archivage des e-mails et les solutions de chiffrement ;
• Maîtrise des outils de productivité de la suite Microsoft 365.
