TechAbout is hiring a System Administrator to keep our Linux servers, mail, and access controls running across our products. The role focuses on hands-on administration without a GUI and direct responsibility for backups, TLS, and identity management.

You will manage Linux hosts, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and access controls for about twenty staff, while monitoring uptime and storage to pre-empt issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux administration; comfortable in a non-GUI terminal.
• Real experience with DNS, TLS certificates, SSH keys and nginx.
• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
• Backups: verify restorations before trusting them.

Responsabilités

• Look after Linux hosts serving multiple sites, with tested backups/restores.
• Own Microsoft 365 mailboxes, OAuth app registrations, distribution/shared mailboxes for ~20 staff.
• Manage access control: who logs in, what they reach, revoke on departure.
• Monitor uptime and disk; anticipate issues before users notice.

TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a System Administrator to keep the servers, mailboxes and access behind every TechAbout product running.

• Location: TechAbout HQ - DHA Lahore

What you will work on

• Look after the Linux hosts that serve techabout.com, blogreach.com and the internal HR platform, including backups and restores you have actually tested.
• Own Microsoft 365 — mailboxes, OAuth app registrations, distribution and shared-mailbox access for around twenty staff.
• Run access control: who has a login, what it can reach, and revoking it the day somebody leaves.
• Keep an eye on uptime and disk, and be the person who notices before a user does.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on Linux administration and comfort in a terminal without a GUI to fall back on.
• Real experience with DNS, TLS certificates, SSH keys and nginx.
• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
• The instinct to check a backup can be restored rather than assuming it can.
