SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP) in Paris seeks a motivated Sustainability Intern to support the Sustainable Investment Team in ESG research, data processing, and database/tool development.

You will report to the Head of Sustainable Investment and aid in defining ESG criteria, integrating sustainability into funds, and assisting with presentations and webinars during the internship starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Background/Interest for sustainability/sustainable finance is needed.
• Analytical and conceptual skills in sustainable finance are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (French & English) are essential.

At SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP), the Sustainable Investment Team manages the sustainable investment process, conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis, and builds databases and tools to embed a state-of-the-art sustainability policy into the investment process. The team reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and makes recommendations to portfolio managers based on the current situation and expected changes in issuers’ ESG quality.

The Sustainable Investment Team is responsible for the sustainable investment policy of SCOR IP. The team:

• maintains consistency with the entity’s sustainable investment policy,
• integrates sustainability in products’ investment strategies,
• embodies sustainability within the asset manager entity.

The team proactively identifies new ESG trends and changes in the regulatory landscape and is responsible of integrating them, if necessary, in the sustainable investment policy of SCOR IP.

The team consists of six members: the Head of Sustainable Investment, three Sustainable Investment Analysts and two interns. Both interns will be working closely with each member of the Sustainable Investment Team. We are looking for new interns to join the team as of January 2027

• performing extra-financial analyses of potential investments
• processing and analyzing portfolios’ ESG data
• ensuring that data is easily available and well managed
• defining ESG criteria and methodology
• integrating sustainability within funds and mandates
• researching and informing SCOR IP on updates in sustainable finance

The intern will also assist the team with the preparation and production of presentations. Finally, the intern will participate in webinars and/or conferences linked to sustainable finance.

• Background/Interest for sustainability/sustainable finance is needed.
• Ability to think logically
• Analytical and conceptual skills in sustainable finance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (French & English)
• Autonomy, rigor, and adaptability are a must due to the variety of tasks
• Advanced computer skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage data. Coding skills (Python) would be appreciated.
