SCOR Investment Partners in Paris is seeking a Master’s student for a six-month internship to analyze ESG data and support sustainable investment decisions. You will work with the Sustainable Investment Team to build databases and tools and contribute to embedding SCOR IP’s sustainability policy into the investment process.

• Currently pursuing a Master's in Finance, Sustainable Finance, or related field.
• Interest in sustainability/sustainable finance is needed.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills in sustainable finance.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Autonomy, rigor, and adaptability are required due to diverse tasks.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are expected.
• Coding skills (Python) would be appreciated.

This six-month internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a global reinsurance group, alongside experts who are embedding sustainability into every stage of the investment process.

At SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP), the Sustainable Investment Team manages the sustainable investment process, conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis, and builds databases and tools to embed a state-of-the-art sustainability policy into the investment process. The team reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and makes recommendations to portfolio managers based on the current situation and expected changes in issuers' ESG quality.

Team Responsibilities

• maintains consistency with the entity's sustainable investment policy,
• integrates sustainability in products' investment strategies,
• embodies sustainability within the asset manager entity.

The team proactively identifies new ESG trends and changes in the regulatory landscape and is responsible of integrating them, if necessary, in the sustainable investment policy of SCOR IP.

The team consists of six members: the Head of Sustainable Investment, three Sustainable Investment Analysts and two interns. Both interns will be working closely with each member of the Sustainable Investment Team.

Qualifications

You are currently doing a Master's degree programme in Finance / Sustainable Finance or in a related field. The position requires the following:

• Background/Interest for sustainability/sustainable finance is needed.
• Ability to think logically
• Analytical and conceptual skills in sustainable finance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (French & English)
• Autonomy, rigor, and adaptability are a must due to the variety of tasks
• Advanced computer skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage data. Coding skills (Python) would be appreciated.
