Job summary

Alstom in Saint-Ouen, FR is offering an internship in Sustainable Depot Solutions. You will join the Services Footprint Development team to map depot sustainability initiatives and develop a framework integrating energy, water, facilities and monitoring systems across sites.

Ideal candidates are Bac+4/5 engineers with knowledge of energy systems, BMS/EMS, and techno-economic analysis, and strong English communication. Training and cross-site collaboration will be emphasized.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bac+4/Bac+5 in engineering, energy, building systems or related field.
• Knowledge of building energy systems, water management, BMS/EMS and techno-economic analysis.
• Ability to connect multiple technical topics and view a site as an operating system.
• Comfort with researching unfamiliar subjects and presenting clear recommendations.
• Interest in sustainable solutions and deploying them across countries.
• Ability to communicate in English and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Map existing depot sustainability initiatives and lessons learned across projects.
• Develop a framework covering energy, water, facilities and monitoring systems.
• Identify interactions with depot operations, maintenance, and site infrastructure.
• Compare solutions using technical, operational and economic criteria.
• Contribute to preliminary business cases with internal teams and partners.
• Package findings into reference materials and reusable tools for bids.
• Collaborate with Services, Engineering and regional teams to test relevance.
